The ICC Cricket World Cup's 12th edition is going to start on 30 May this year. The ten countries that are participating are the most deserving countries considering they're selected out of the 105 countries that play international cricket. Jerseys are more than just a differentiating element on the playing field. Jerseys are super important to cricket because it represents the ethos and the values of the country and by extension, the team that they belong to. - India's Jersey

Sachin Opens Again: Tendulkar makes debut in commentary box in World Cup opener
Sachin Tendulkar made his highly anticipated debut as a commentator during the World Cup opener between England and South Africa at The Oval in London. Tendulkar was present in the commentary box along with Virender Sehwag and Sourav Ganguly. The Master Blaster also joined the pre-show in Hindi and English with his very own segment ‘Sachin Opens Again’ where he was joined by other panelists.
The 46-year-old, who has represented India in six World Cups, holds the record for scoring the highest number of runs in a single edition of the World Cup, scoring 673 in 2003.

The Queen along with Prince Harry hosted an annual garden party in the 1844 Room of the Palace to wish the teams good luck for their endeavour at the 46-day long showpeice event.
All the 10 captains were in attendance later in the day at the opening ceremony held at The Mall, the iconic street in central London. Speaking at the opening party which had the Buckingham Palace as it picturesque background, hosts England captain Eoin Morgan said: "Hopefully, we will be great hosts and hopefully we will do everybody proud".

Renowned wax museum Madame Tussauds on Wednesday unveiled India captain Virat Kohli's statue at Lord's Cricket Ground here to mark the launch of the ICC World Cup 2019. The wax statue of one of the world's leading batsmen will be on display at Madame Tussauds from Thursday until July 15 remaining at the museum for the duration of the tournament.
